Wooster – Alvis P. Orender, Jr., 56, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Smithville Western Care Center.
He was born August 21, 1961 in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, the son of Alvis Preston, Sr. and Myrtle Joyce Ritter Orender.
He had worked at Rubbermaid, attended West Hill Baptist Church and had proudly served his country with the US Army from 1980-1986.
Surviving is a son, David A. Orender of Wooster and siblings, Jeff Orender and Tony Orender both of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pam Myers.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster 1 hour to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, July 26, 2018 with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating. Burial will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville at 2:30 p.m.
