  3. Dearest Tony,
Thank you for being an incredible friend, accompanying me as a fun-loving classmate from Kindergarten at Berlin Elementary through 12th grade at Central Christian in Kidron (Class of 1979) and as a fellow church member at Farmerstown Mennonite (later, Countryside Chapel in Baltic). We share so many memories over the years! Thank you for playing keyboards at my wedding reception in Brevard, NC and for offering to play impromptu for my sister’s wedding reception in Orrville when you learned she had not hired any musicians. You were Mom’s (Barbara Miller) best piano student, and she was incredibly proud of your accomplishments. Your cheerful, energetic, positive spirit always brought a smile to my face, and your Christmas cards always arrived first (immediately after Thanksgiving), filled with your delightful greetings. I will miss you deeply as will many others.

  18. “Mr T” you are already so missed by so many! It will be so hard for all of us to think of daily life here without you here on earth, but I have a feeling all of us will see you show up in our daily life in some special way from above. You always had a FB or PM, or a personal card sent to life your spirits. Always there, always faithful, always true, that was the Tony we all knew & loved so dearly. I had to smile when I read the comment above about on your Christmas card arriving PROMPTLY after Thanksgiving…your card was ALWAYS the 1st to arrive year after year, and I’d always announced when it arrived Chrismas season could begin because we got Tony’s card! Rest in the loving arms of Jesus Mr T, until we meet again. Suzie

  29. I worked with Tony at the Bargain Hunter as an ad proofreader in the 90’s and he was a wonderful friend and fellow to work with. I am saddened to hear of his passing, but more distressed that he lay in a mean state for so long before being found and helped. I know angels were with him and he is now much better and no longer suffering. God bless his family and give them strength and peace as they mourn.
