WOOSTER – Antoinette Dellafave BRADEN, 84, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born March 11, 1925 in Wooster the daughter of Joseph and Julia Defelice Dellafave.
She retired from Wooster City Schools where she worked in Food Service. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and was a avid reader and was an artist..
Surviving are husband, Wilbur Braden, of Wooster whom she married July 10, 1948, her children, Tana Russell) Deren of Akron, William (Elaine) Braden of Burlington, NC and Daniel Braden of Va. Beach, VA, grandchildren, Patrick Braden Deren of Langley Air Force Base in Virginia and Bethany A. Deren of Akron; sisters, Louise Nuna Medve of Orrville and Filomena Giroux of Wooster, a brother, Sebastian Dellafave of Wooster, a brother-in-law, Jack (Nancy) Braden of FL and many nieces and nephews.
Antoinette was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Judith Braden, brothers Francis, John and Ralph Dellafave and sisters Rose Tomassetti, Angeline Perkiins, Josephine Perkins and an infant sister.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster on Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
