WOOSTER “ Arden D. Carson, 89, of Wooster passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at his home.
He was born December 17, 1931 in Orrville the son of Parker and Mabel Woodward Carson.   He married Judith K. Edwards on February 20, 1966.   She survives.
Arden retired after 31 years as Greenhouse Foreman in Pathology at the O.A.R.D.C.   He was a member of Central Christian Church where he was a lifetime deacon and trustee.   He was also a member of the American Legion.   Arden loved traveling, bowling, golfing, skiing and watching the Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians.
He had proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force 1950 “ 1953.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Judith, is a daughter Katy (Scott) Wiley of Polk and a grandson Kyle Wiley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Kaitlin Wiley and siblings Dorothy Hook and Donald Carson.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St., Wooster with Rev. Glen Schory officiating.   Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
