WOOSTER “ Arline B. Sherman, 92, of Wooster passed away at The Avenue at Wooster on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
She was born January 26, 1928 in Cleveland the daughter of Andrew and Marqarette Szaraz Toth.   She had worked for Cook United in Maple Heights for 25 years and for Attorney James Tomola for 5 years.
It is with great sorrow when we speak to the loss of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend.   The love she had for her family was simply immeasurable.   She was selfless and gave with every ounce of her being.   Mom had a spiritual gift, the gift of wisdom, exemplifying wise advice and special knowledge when asked.   Mom was an avid reader and had a vocabulary like no other.   We all immensely enjoyed her authentic Hungarian cuisine for family dinners.   Christmas time was extra special as she always made an array of delectable cookies.   Great Grandma always kept her candy jar full of regular and peanut M&M ™s for her princesses, Carla and Kourtney, whom she loved dearly.   Mom, life will be very different now but you left us a legacy.
Arline enjoyed theater, playing cards, traveling, singing and crocheting.
She is survived by her children Pamela Lynn Sherman (Nancy Rosekrans) of Church Hill, TN and Craig W. (Carol) Sherman Wooster; grandchildren David and Alisha Evans of Wadsworth, Bethany Evans of Covington, LA, Travis Sherman and Amanda Sherman of Cleveland; great-grandchildren Carla Evans and Kourtney Evans; niece’s Paula (Anthony) Kanzig and Tracy (Joe) Glinski; great nieces Hannah, Amelia and MacKenna Kanzig and Candace Glinski and a great nephew Matthew Glinski.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Sherman, her parents and a sister June Sinko.
