WOOSTER – Arline M LEISY, 89, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 22, 1920 in Massillon, the daughter of Carl and Myrtle Hall Shilling.
She was a graduate of Heidelberg University and had been a high school teacher in the Dalton School District. Arline was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. She was a member of the Wayne County Historical Society and a former member of the A.A.U.W.
Surviving are son, Raymond E (Allyson) Leisy of Wooster; a sister-in-law, LaVonne Wukas of Chicago, 1 nephew, 2 nieces, 1 cousin.
Arline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ralph E Leisy, on October 4, 1983 whom she married September 26, 1947.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday evening, April 25, 2010 from 4-6:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. with the Revs. Kevan Franklin and Glenn Royer officiating. Interment will follow in the Newman’s Creek Cemetery in North Lawrence.
