WOOSTER  Barbara Mae Wilson, 82, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018, surrounded by family at the Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 3, 1935, the daughter of Edward and Josephine Andel. She married Robert C. Wilson on July 15, 1967.
A former resident of Richfield, Ohio, Barbara graduated from Revere High School in 1953. She has made her home with her family in Wooster for over 43 years. Barbara worked for George Lamb Chevy, the Wm Annat Company, and was a hairdresser in Richfield, but her true love was being a wife and a homemaker. She loved her family, bird watching, camping, crafting, and being a grandmother. She spent countless hours in the horse barn working with her daughter Kay who was involved in the Wayne County Saddle Club.
Surviving are her loving husband Robert C. Wilson, children Kay (Robert) Moore of Charlotte, NC, Steve (Julie) Raines of Cotter, AR, Amy Boreman of Wooster, OH, Keith Wilson of Grafton, WV, Diana (Alan) Millington of Powell, OH, and Coral (Scott) Eash of Orrville, OH; sister Sonia Solomonoff of Wooster, OH, 16 grandchildren, 9 plus one on the way great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She  was extremely close to her granddaughter, Ashley Allen of Wooster, who was her best friend and whom she loved like a daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece. She will be deeply missed by her husband and family.
There will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Pittsburg Fire Department in New Pittsburg, Ohio.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the New Pittsburg Fire Department, the staff at Wooster Community Hospital, and the caregivers that came to assist during Barbara ™s illness.
