APPLE CREEK – Benjamin Harrison MURRAY, 63, of Apple Creek passed away December 8, 2009 in his home.
He was born August 15, 1946 in Columbus, the son of Roy Harrison and Grace Thatcher Murray.
He had been employed as a meat cutter.
Surviving are wife, Paula Ogg Murray, to whom he had been marred 38 years; his children Ken (Cindy) Murray of Wooster, Benjamin (Diane) Murray of Mansfield, Vanessa (Tracy) Copley of Orrville, Bud (Pam) Derenberger of Mansfield, Fred (Deb) Derenberger of FL, Tina Murphy of Wooster and Katrina Waggon of Johnsville, OH;
Grandchildren, Kane, Kayla, Kristine, Shawnta, Katrina, Ashley, Jessica, Dakota and Adrianna Murray, Paula, Troy and Carmen Copley, Rob, Amy, Ricky, Freddy and Jerry Derenberger, Amanda and Richard Murphy, Justin, Jason, Chad and Clyde Waggon; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy Murray of McConnelsville, Ray Murray of Columbus, Butch Murray of KY and George Murray of Johnstown.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 12, 2009 with Services to follow at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Dr. Kevan Franklin officiating.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
