WOOSTER – Bernice Iola Lisle, 90, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Wayne Co. Care Center.

She was born July 16, 1928 in Holmes County, the daughter of Harry J. and Zelpha Etzweiler Sigler.

Bernice retired from Rubbermaid after over 30 years and had previously worked at the Hawkins Cafeteria.  She was a member of the Northview Alliance Church.

Bernice loved spending time with her family and caring for her dog Ogee.

Surviving is a son Stanley Sigler of Wooster; grandchildren, Matthew (Joanie) Sigler of West Salem and Jaime (Bridget) Sigler of Wooster; great-grandchildren, Trent and Hayden Sigler and Harper Sigler and a great-granddaughter on the way; siblings, Opal Croskey of Shreve, Bess Yacapraro of W. Lafayette and Helen (Gary) Weltmer of Fredericksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Lewis J. Noletti on October 20, 1993 whom she married October 14, 1977, her second husband, Wayne Lisle in 2012 whom she married in May of 1996 and her siblings, Robert, Roy, Clifford, Howard, Kenneth, Lemoine and Donald Sigler and Margaret Ann Sigler.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Geno Calorusso officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Bernie was a sweet lady. We always enjoyed her when we had family celebrations. Such good memories with Great Gramma and little Harper Rose.

so sorry for our loss, we will miss Aunt Bern very much.

I remember Bernice as always smiling and ready to greet people at church. I was honored to sing at her wedding when she and Wayne were married. Lovely lady. She will be missed.

I have worked with Bernie at Rubbermaid.but lived on Rebecca St close to where she lived yrs. Will miss her,

My sincere sympathies to Bernice's family and siblings. I have been missing her at the Des Dutch Essenhaus not knowing why. She was so sweet and I always to see her and Opal come for a meal. May God surround you with His loving arms and uphold you during this time of grief.

Aunt Bernie was the sweetest lady I ever knew she will be missed by all who knew her.
