WOOSTER “ Bertha Mae Elder Domer, 80, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
She was born October 29, 1939 in Elbert, West Virginia the daughter of William Jr. and Minnie C. Trivett Owens.   She married Kenneth D. Domer on December 30, 1997.   He preceded her in death on February 16, 2020.
Bertha was a 1958 graduate of Waynedale High School and retired from K-Mart.   She was a member of the Parkview Church of Christ in Wooster, the Wooster Eagles and the Women of the Word Bible Study Group of Shreve.
Surviving are her children Kevin Eugene Elder of Wooster and Karla Sue Elder Koerner of South Carolina; step-children Darrell (Helen) Domer of Dalton and Shirley Domer of Columbus; grandchildren Josh Hale of South Carolina, Mallory, Jason and Clark Elder of Doylestown; step-grandchildren Carrie and Dylan Domer of Dalton; siblings William Owens of Lake Placide, Florida, Shirley Painter of Wooster and Faye (Richard) Vaughn of N. Ridgeville amd a sister-in-law Frankie Owens of Auburn Washington.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Chris Hale and siblings Charles Owens and Irene Vestal.
Private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  7. My deepest sympathies to Bert’s family. She and I worked together for many years. I loved working with her. She and Kenny continued to come into Kmart to visit and always made a point to come to the employee lounge to see everyone. Such a sweet person. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  12. Kevin & Karla, Your mom and I were very close when you,Malyssa & Billy were little. We all lived in Wooster and our families spent a lot of time together. Lots of good memories.
