She was born October 30, 1916 in Wooster to William E Plink and Nellie V. Miller Rice.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time in the Akron area with relatives.
Surviving are sons, William Terry (Vilet) Burkey of Wooster and Geoffrey L. Burkey of Delta, CO; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn L. Burkey, a son James A. Burkey and a brother Sterling M. Bus Rice.
