WOOSTER “ Booker T. Williams, Jr., 80, of Wooster passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 7, 1936 in Quitman, Georgia, the son of Booker T., Sr. and Rosa Mae Brown Williams.  
He was employed as a film striper for 30 years at Bell & Howell retiring in 2000.   Booker T. was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orrville where he served as a deacon, a member of the male chorus and was also a member of the St. Paul Gospel Singers.  
Surviving are his children, Terry R. Williams of Wooster, Gordon B. (Idaliz) Williams of Parma Heights and Reida (Jerry) Wilson of Dayton; 7 Grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a God-daughter, Tammi Timmons, a sister, Helen Williams and his closest and dear friend, Brother, James Nash.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Maeretha E. Crummer Williams on October 7, 2009, his parents, a son Gary L. Williams on July 19, 2009 and his siblings, Rosa Mae Ward, Lee Williams and Willie Henry Williams.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the Noon service on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Second Baptist Church,  245 S. Grant St., Wooster with Elder, Robert Golson officiating.   Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
