Burton Mullins, 87, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Ohio’s Lifecare Hospice.

He was born November 11, 1934 in Elkridge, WV to Jackson and Lucy Rhodes Mullins.

Burton enlisted in the Marines. He was the owner of his own cleaning service Moon Industrial Service and was a member of Fredericksburg American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Whitman Mullins; children Michael Mullins, Michelle (Ben) Berry, Steven (Phyllis) Mullins, David Mullins, Cheryl Goebel, Tammy (Mark) Jobes, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Mullins, Cathy (Bob) Newman and Teresa (Ray) Fiscus; grandchildren Tyler (Amber) Berry, Austin (Madison Marcie) Berry, Nicholas (Brooklyn) Berry, Alexis Mullins, Brenna Mullins, Olivia Mullins and Madelyn Mullins; great grandchildren Braxton Berry, Eliana Berry and John Myers Berry.

Burton was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lewis Mullins, sisters Lillian Matheney, Mavis Mullins, Shirley Moore and Lucille Mullins.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
