WOOSTER “ Carol Ann Wines, 75, of Wooster passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 27, 1944, the daughter of Bernard and Mae Smith Icenhower. She married Allen Wines in 1960. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2015.
Carol was a homemaker who enjoyed campfires and the great outdoors. She mostly enjoyed spending time with all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Tammy (Carl) Sturgill of Wooster, Darla (Dale) Boggs of Beach City, Harold Wines of Wooster, Tim (Julie) Wines of Massillon, Tyler Martin and William Martin of Apple Creek; siblings Janice Haas and David Icenhower; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her children Carla Sprunk and Connie Taylor; and siblings Terry, Robert, Bill and Linda.
Private family services will be held.
Arrangements are under the direction of the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster.

  2. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tammy Sturgill and the entire family during this time of loss. I know Carol had a great heart and was a inspiration to others around her. My hope is that the love she had for this family
    and the passion she had to want to be there for others will go on with this family as they honor Carol Wines.

  6. My heart is heavy. I have been lucky to have been a part of your family for more then 20 yrs. We have have had our ups and downs but i have always considered you my family. I will forever cherish the talks we shared just me and you. I will miss you always. I know you and Al are together with your babies now. Look down on everyone from time to time. Love you Carol (Grandma) rest easy now.
