Carol Miller, Loving Mom/Grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep at Wooster Hospice Life Care surrounded by her 3 boys.   Carol was born January 8, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to Byron James and Mae C. Hess Perry.   Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bill, and her sister, Jeanne.   Carol leaves behind her brother George (Alpena, MI), her 3 boys (Bryan 58, Kevin 56, Sean 53), along with her 8 grandchildren (Kevin Jr., Zachary, Cody, Haley, Nataleigh, Alexis, Landon, and Taylor) along with 3 Great Grandchildren (Aubree, Wyatt, and Layton).
Carol worked 25+ years at the Village of Carpentersville until retiring as the Village Clerk of Carpentersville.
Carol, also known as Mom, CJ, and Grandma CJ, was loved by all and considered a second Mom to many.   She had a passion for cooking and took immense pleasure in sharing that with her family and friends.   She had a love for exchanging recipes with her friends and sharing her culinary talents with many others.
She enjoyed travelling and taking trips with her friends. Some of her favorite places to visit included famous lighthouses, Mackinac Island, Lake Geneva ”and for that matter, any body of water she could swim in.
Along with her many passions, she also spent a great deal of time listening to music, which involved fangirling over her favorite male artists at the time. Some of the artists most bragged about by Carol were Bruno Mars, Keith Harkin, Adam Levine, and her favorite of all, Josh Groban (all of which she claimed to be her boyfriends). Accompanying the artists on Carol ™s list of boyfriends was Chicago Blackhawks ™ own Patrick Kane, her œGolden Boy .
Carol took great pride in her family and always made time for them. She loved watching all the sporting events (Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Bowling) and cheerfully supported her boys & grandchildren through it all.
Oh yeah, and did we forget to mention that she really liked food?!
