ORRVILLE “ Carolyn Mae Bryant, 74, of Orrville passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Orrville Point.
Carolyn was born March 21, 1943 in Shreve, the daughter of Hobart and Frances Burden Daugherty.
She had been a housekeeper at the former Horn ™s Nursing Home and Townsview Terrace.   Carolyn was an active member of the River of Life Faith Christian Center in Wooster.   She loved reading, playing scrabble and singing, especially at the church.   She also enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Roger Matthew Dawson of Wooster, Sarah Rae Dawson of Columbus and Lila Mae Dawson of Wooster; grandchildren, Tyler Dawson and Tina Williams; great-granddaughter, Layla Dawson and her siblings, Doris (Max) Slaughter of Dalton, Wilma (Norman) Moser and Paul (Shirley) Daugherty both of Wooster and Hilda Smith of Texarkana, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Carol Moore Knipe.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 9-10:30 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with Apostle Lottie Smith officiating.   Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Zanesville at 2:45 p.m.
