WOOSTER – Cecilia Mae Sis BOLDMAN, 88, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in her home.
She was born October 7, 1920 in Wayne Co the daughter of Russell and Emma Meyer Kauffman.
She retired as a brush maker from the Wooster Brush Company. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and a past president of the Altar and Rosary Society and a member of Mission Circle #10. She had served as a Den Mother and was a member of Apple Creek American Legion Auxiliary.
Sis is survived by her sons Larry (Joanne) Boldman of Sandusky and Gary (Diane) Boldman of Wooster; grandson Robert (Shelley) Boldman of Gibsonburg; great-grandchildren Logan and Mason; sisters Victoria Kelley and Christine Plant all of Wooster and brothers Hank of Duluth, MN and Paul of Creston.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Boldman, on April 6, 1998, sisters Leona Short, Mary Neuffer and Helen Kauffman and brothers Walter, George and John Kauffman..
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening from 6-9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 5:15 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with the Rev. Father Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.
