She was a homemaker and had been a registered nurse for many years at Wooster Community Hospital. Member of the Church of the Saviour and a former member of the Zion Lutheran Church and Moreland United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children Brenda(Ron) Kersten of Westerville, James Robert "Bob" Hoffman, Barbara Hoffman and Brian Hoffman all of Wooster; a granddaughter Melissa (Chris) Smiley of Westerville; great-grandchildren Kendall and Morgan Smiley; sisters, Hilda Feiler of Mansfield, Maxine Richards of Youngstown, Nancy Wagner of Lancaster and Eleanor Smith of Westerville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Hoffman on June 25, 2004 whom she married December 25, 1951 and sisters Treva L.
Hoffman and Pauline Watson and brothers Russell J. and Marion S. Allison.
