Wooster “ We regretfully announce the passing of Christine Cochran, which occurred unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2022.   Chris will be forever loved and remembered by many.
Born April 13, 1971, she was gifted with a caring heart, a strong work ethic and a beautiful smile.   Her laughter and exuberant spirit was felt by all who worked alongside her or were lucky enough to be her friend.   Chris loved growing up on the farm and showing Holstein dairy cattle at the Wayne Co. Fair as a 4-H member as well as participating in Northwestern Sports until graduating in 1989.
She married Andrew Cochran on March 2, 1996.   Together, they lovingly raised their son, Travis.   One of her greatest delights in life was watching Travis grow and she was fully immersed and supportive of his baseball, basketball and football activities.   Always the animal lover, Chris enjoyed caring for many canine friends over the years and enjoyed snuggling with their newest charmer, Oliver.
Chris grew up milking cows and caring for animals on the family farm and has been employed by Northwestern Local Schools since 2017.   She loved the outdoors and spent precious family time making summertime boating memories at Pleasant Hill Lake.
For a long time to come, her life will continue to influence and inspire others to love everyone unconditionally.   Her memory will be cherished and her presence greatly missed.   While it will be impossible to fill the void created by her absence, Chris would hope that all who knew her would try to fill it with love.
She is survived by her husband, Andy and son, Travis, a brother Bill Ogden, father-in-law Bob Cochran and a brother-in-law Wes Cochran..   She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy (Ward) and Dwight Ogden and her mother-in-law Lynda Cochran.

Before Lynda died, she told me many many times how grateful she was for Chris’ deep felt love and support. That is a powerful gift. I am sure gratitude for Chris’ life is pouring out from many hearts as we share in grieving over this devastating loss.

  27. Can’t believe Chris is gone from this earth already! Seems like just a few months ago I saw her at her Dad’s funeral! I knew her Dad from Young Farmer days, etc. back in the 60’s. Chris was an enjoyable student in Jr. High. I drove bus for her basketball team to away games – she was a great player! We appreciate the super work that Andy has done here in our home over the years! I have enjoyed reading about Travis in the sports section! Andy & Travis – you are in my thoughts and prayers! So sorry for your loss! May Chris rest in peace!!
