WOOSTER – Clarence Junior FRIEND, 55, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in his home.
He was born August 20, 1954 in Lodi, son of Clarence Mary Cowger Hostetler.
He had worked for the Gerstenslager Co. for 11 years. He loved fishing, hunting and playing pool..
Surviving are wife, Victoria (Clark) Friend whom he married May 3, 1985; his children, Rodney (Hope) Clark, Ricky (Samantha) Heckman, Mary Friend, Cora Friend and Clarenca Friend all of Wooster; 7 grandchildren; his sisters Ruth (Charles) Klintworth of Pigeon Forge, TN, Hazel Sigler of Wooster and Judy (Ben) Heater of Apple Creek and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, january 17, 2010 from 4-6:00 P.M.
Services will be held at Funeral Home, Monday, January 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Brady officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
Contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
