WOOSTER – Clarence Junior MUSSELMAN, Muss of Wooster, passed away Monday, January 7, 2008 in West View Manor Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
He was born June 17, 1925 in Wayne Co., OH, to Clarence Milo and Hilda Flack Musselman on a farm east of Wooster where Magni Power now sits. He attended and was in the last graduating class of the one room school house at Wooster Twp. School and a 1943 graduate of Wooster High School.
As a young man, he worked at various factory jobs in Wooster, ran his own sweeper shop in Wooster in the early 60’s and retired from the O.A.R.D.C. as a plumber after 22 years of service.
He loved to spend time with his family, hunt and hike in the Holmes Co. Area and was an avid arrowhead and mushroom hunter. He was very knowledgeable about local indian and settler lore.
In his youth he played baseball for many city leagues. He also sponsored and coached his own team in the mid 70’s.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Jaberg whom he married May 23, 1975; a daughter Lynette (Ken) Geitgey and a son Christopher (Rachel) Musselman both of Wooster; grandchildren Deyonna (Scott) Pattie and AdrienMusselman of Wooster; great grndchildren Casey and Trey Pattie of Wooster.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved his family and will be missed by all who loved him.
