WOOSTER – Cloney CORBIN, 87, of Wooster, OH, died Thursday, December 25, 2008 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1921 in Flatwoods, KY, daughter of Jack R. and Martha A. Clark DeHart.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the former Westwood Baptist Church. She had resided at the Wayne Co. Care Center for the past two years.
Surviving are her children, Homer (Brenda) Corbin of Wooster and Faye Darlene (John) Hunt of Scottsdale, AZ, 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Cloney was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Wilson Corbin, on February 4, 2000 whom she married February 11, 1937, a son Kenneth Harold Corbin on February 14, 1983, a step-grandson, Jonathon Hackett on November 2, 2008, sisters, Ollie Kirk and Bertha Williams and brothers Everett, Chester and Edward DeHart.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery,
