WOOSTER – Corene Johnson, 76, of Wooster passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at her home.
She was born July 13, 1942 in Breman, Kentucky, the daughter of Elbert and Lorene Howell Higgs.
She retired from Frito-Lay.
She is survived by her children, Stanley (Charlotte) Johnson of Shreve, George Johnson and Kimberly Johnson both of Wooster; grandchildren, Mitchell (Brandy) Johnson, Rachel (Greg) Dean, Tyler Johnson and George Adam Johnson; great-grandchildren, Avery Johnson, Karsen Moore, Madalyne Moore, Mallarry Moore,  Tori Dean, Ty Dean Savannah Johnson and Angelica Johnson and a sister, Wilma Williamson of Wooster.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Raymond Higgs, Dub Higgs, Bill Higgs and Millie Duncan.
There will be no calling hours or services.
