Daisy I. Gard, 50, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Wooster Community Hospital.

She was born May 30, 1971 the daughter of Gary Glen and Janice Parks Gard. She married Neil D’Sidocky on June 1, 2001. He survives.

Daisy was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, running, writing, and cooking. She was a 1989 graduate of Wooster High School and a 1997 graduate of Kent State University. Daisy enjoyed being with her dogs, Willie and Petey, both of whom she loved dearly. Daisy was known to foster many stray animals throughout her life. But, of all things, she truly loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband and mother, Daisy is survived by her children Joseph and Maximilian D’Sidocky, both of the home; her sister Greta (Anthony Barger) Gard of Indiana; and her nieces and nephew Emma, Wren, and Eleanor.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A private family celebration of Daisy’s life will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Daisy was one of the kindest persons I have ever met. We were roommates in college. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Janice I am so very sorry for your loss.

Daisy was one of my dearest friends from grade school thru high school. I'm saddened to hear she is gone. My prayers for Janice, Greta, and her son's.

I worked with Daisy at Buehler's. She was a hard worker and had a great personality and mind set. Always positive, always upbeat! She will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. God bless.

My heart is heavy in hearing the news of Daisy's death. I met Daisy online when we were both pregnant with our first children. For years, we were in near daily touch over the journey of motherhood. What a privilege it was to have her in my life as a trusted friend. To Daisy's family and other loved ones, please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
