NORFOLK, VA. – Daniel Thomas BRADEN, 48, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
He was born September 11, 1961 in Wooster, the son of Wilbur D. and Antoinette Dellafave Braden.
He was an assistant manager of a 7-Eleven Store in Virginia Beach. Served his country with the U.S. Navy. He was a big fan of the Princess Anne Academy Girls Basketball program and Glenville State College Women’s Basketball program..
Surviving are his father of Wooster; a sister, Tana (Russell) Deren of Akron and a brother William (Elaine) Braden of Burlington, NC; a niece, Beth Deren of Akron, nephew, Staff Sgt. Pat Deren of Langley Air Force Base; Aunts, Louise Nuna Medve of Orrville and Filomena Giroux of Wooster, uncles, Sebastian Sam Dellafave of Wooster and Jack (Nancy) Braden of Florida and many cousins.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother on April 7, 2009 and a sister Judith Braden.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the 11:00 A.M. service on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran officiating. Burial will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
