He worked as a Horticulturist for Will-O-Dell Nursery for the past 17 years.
Surviving are children Dawn & Mike Nichols – Okeechobe, Fla. Angela & Chris Norton -Dunnellon, Fla., and Charles D. Boykin – Wooster, his father and step-mother Charles & Louise Boykin of Medina, sisters Nancy Boykin of Ypsilanti, Mi., and Susan & Dennis Meade of Wooster and 6 grandchildren.
His mother Jane McDermott and a brother William preceded.
