WOOSTER – David Earl WILLIAMS, 76, of Wooster, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Med Central Health System Hospital in Mansfield.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, on Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 5-7:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Sunday, May 11, 2008, at 7:00 P.M. with the Rev. Carroll Meyer officiating.
Those who wish may make contributions to the family.
Born March 16, 1932 in Rocky River, Ohio, he was the son of David M. and Sara Whitney Williams.
He retired from the Wooster Brush Company in 1997 after 33 years of service. Member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed every moment he had spent with his grandchildren. He was a decorated Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Laurel J. Bayer Williams, whom he married June 8, 1958; his children Sherryl (Bob) Bodnar, David (Andi) Williams and Eric (Jen) Williams all of Wooster; his step-mother, Thelma Williams of Upper Sandusky; 5 grandchildren Jared and Jacob Bodnar, David and Jaelin Williams and Sara Williams all of Wooster; a brother Dennis Williams of Columbus, sisters, Judy Yaeger of Irving, TX, Glenna Shaffer of Mansfield and Kris (Tony) Orians of Upper Sandusky and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
