  4. I am so heartbroken to learn of Debbie’s passing. I worked with her for 9 years at CCHO and have many dear memories with her. She loved kids and went above and beyond to make them feel loved. We joked with Debbie about her fetish for shoes, wearing neon colors, and collecting as many art supplies as she could get her hands on. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Debbie, I’ll see you again one day!

She truly had a passion for helping those who are hurting and showing them the love of Christ. I pray for peace and comfort during this sorrowful time. She will be missed but I am glad for the opportunity to have worked with her.

  9. Marsha, Delbert and Family,
I wish I had the words to take away your pain right now or help you make sense of why this happened, but I don’t. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I am here if I can do anything to help.

Deb will always remain my Deb “Filet O Fish.” The first day we met at the Career Center and she said her middle name was Pleshette, I thought she said “Filet O Fish”. LOL!! That became her nickname from me and it stayed all these years. We had some fun times not only in high school but when we worked together at Learn N Play as well as our camping trips together. She will be missed. May she rest in peace now as she joins the angels above.

  10. I am so saddened and stunned to hear of Debbie’s passing. I had the privilege of working with her at CCHO in the on-campus school. She was not only supportive of the kids, but also those she worked with. There were so many times that Debbie was the difference-maker in reaching students. She was a true part of the school team and so willing to collaborate with all of us to ensure the kids were educated and the teachers supported, in school. We could not have done it without you Miss Debbie! You will be missed.

  20. I just heard of Debbie’s passing from ladies whom we worked with at Learn N Play. Debbie and I co-taught at Learn N Play in the kindergarten classroom for two years while I was in college. She kept the children and I busy all summer planning field trips to the library, playing at the park, and even swimming at Knights Field pool. We were on the go all the time! Prayers to her family. I am so sorry to hear about your loss and hope that memories of her give you comfort during this time.
