WOOSTER “ Derrick T. L. Griffith, 30, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born January 10, 1988 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the son of Reuben Durham and Joy Griffith.
Derrick is survived by his daughter, Zalayah Griffith; his parents; siblings, Lamont Griffith and Bruno Gregg both of Canton, Jol Griffith of Wooster, Micheal Jones of Connecticut and his cousin/brother, Chris Carter of Wooster; grandmother, Olivia D. Griffith of Wooster; an aunt, Sylvia Griffith-Robinson of Canton; uncles, James E. Griffith, Jr. of Orrville, Darren Griffith of Wooster, Leon Griffith of Massillon and Demetrius Robinson of Columbus; great aunts, Gloria Johnson of Steubenville and Joyce Carter of Wooster and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and a great uncle.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Apostle Dr. Lottie Smith officiating.   Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
