Dolores Clara Walker, 93, of Carmi, Illinois, formerly of Wooster, passed away on January 5, 2021 from complications of COVID 19.
She was born October 12, 1927 in McKee’s Rocks Pennsylvania, the daughter of Charles and Freda Wenzelburger Kramer. She was married to Paul J Patterson in 1947 who passed away in 1954. She worked for many years at the Daily Record until marrying Earle Walker in 1969. Earle passed away in 2008. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Mercedes Wagner and Audrey Condry.
She is survived by her children; Charles Patterson (wife Christine) of Norwell, Massachusetts, Rodney Patterson (wife Brenda) of Shreve Ohio, Jan Patterson (wife Lisa Blair) of Evansville, Indiana, and Steve Walker (wife Suzanne) of Avon Ohio; her grandchildren Charles Patterson Jr. (wife Kristine), Michael Patterson (partner Cathy), Ty Moltmann (husband Ken), Jenny Patterson (partner Jeff), Jordan Walker, Luke Patterson (wife Krystal), and Nick Patterson (wife Krissy). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
She touched the lives of all who knew her, so many did and were the richer for it. To all of us she was Mom or Grandma, or Aunt Dee, or just Dee (No one called her Dolores). We will all miss her kindness and her humor…well that was legendary. So think of her with us and smile at a life well lived.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I have so many wonderful memories of you three and your Mom
during the late 50’s and early 60’s…..fun times on our visits to Armstrong Drive; Ron and I taking all of you to Lake
Erie for the weekend; at the bowling alley or lunch with your Mom during Daily Record days. Dee was a really hard worker,
but she also liked fun times. She had an unforgettable laugh and loved coffee.
