Donald Edward Morrow Sr,, 77, of Wooster, OH, passed away October 19, 2008 at Acute Care Specialty Hospital in Canton, OH.
He was born May 17, 1931 in Swicley, PA, the son of James W. and Olive Diley Morrow.
Donald served his country during the Korean Conflict as a SSgt in the U.S. Army
Donald worked for Halliburton for 2 years and then at Wayne Concrete Block until 1981 and in 1982 he became a co -Owner of Tri M. Block Co.
He was a member of .Emmanuel Old Stone Church, American Legion Post #68, Wooster Moose Lodge, Wooster Eagles Lodge, was an avid card player and sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed his grandchildren and their activities.
Surviving are wife, Betty McClure Morrow of 54 yrs. , daughter, Linda and Earl Mullet of Wooster, son, Don Morrow Jr.and Lisa of Fredericksburg, grandchildren: Christy & Anthony Amlotte, Brandon and Josh Morrow, great-grandchildren: Taylor Pennington, Hunter and Chase Amlotte, , sister and brothers Edith Hughes of PA, , Jim Morrow of PA, Nancy Hughes of PA, Addie Murin of PA, , Frank & Carmie Morrow of PA, , Mary Desmond of FL. and a number of neices and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a half brother and sister and an infant sister..
Services will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home 216 E, Larwill St. Wooster, Thursday 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Dan Bartkowiak officiating, . Interment will follow in the Reedsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wednesday 6-9 P.M.
