WOOSTER – Donald E. Davis, 94, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice.

He was born January 4, 1924 in East Liverpool, the son of Edwin and Josephine Burl Davis.  He married Linda Brubaker on February 4, 1956.  She survives.

He had been a heavy equipment operator for the Ohio Department of Transportation., Landmark Fertilizer and had been an insurance salesman.  Donald loved playing golf and all sports.  He enjoyed attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and was an avid Indians fan.

He proudly served his country with the US. Navy and the US Marines

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Barb Davis of Medina, Jeff “JD” Davis of Wadsworth, Jim Davis of Cleveland, Sue Schering of New Jersey and Becci Russell of British Columbia; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jack and Robert Davis.

Burial of cremains will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
