WOOSTER “ Donald J. œToby  Cicconetti, 94, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Smithville Western Care Center.
He was born May 25, 1925 in Wooster, the son of Vincent and Laura DiScipio Cicconetti.   He was a life-long Wooster resident proudly graduating from Wooster High School and Kent State University.
He was a retired teacher and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.   He enjoyed antiques, art and music.
Toby proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII where he received the Purple Heart and two Bronze Campaign Stars.
He is survived by many, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Hugo Cicconetti, Josephine Humrichouser, Nicolene Dalessandro, Paul Cicconetti, Harry Cicconetti, Dominic Cicconetti, Lucille Scale, Jennie Woyat and an infant brother Carl Cicconetti.
There will be no calling hours and a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. My sympathies to your family. Mr. Cicconetti was one of my teachers at St. Mary.
