Very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Your father and Mother were very good people you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Bonnie, our condolences to you and your entire family. Our last memory of your dad was seeing him assisting your mother at the Wayne County fair on a sunny September afternoon.

I am very sad to hear of Uncle Don's passing. I hadn't seen Uncle Don (or Aunt Jean) for a very long time, maybe almost 30 years. My Mom (Elaine) and Dad were the ones who moved away from Wooster, so even as kids we usually saw them only at the Varns Christmas get-together at Grandma and Grampa's. My heart goes out to my cousins Dean, Gene, and Bonnie; I am very sorry for your loss. I sincerely thank Dean for phoning me with the news. I hope to be able to attend the memorial service; I don't know about my sister Jennifer.

Bonnie, Dean and Gene, I'm so saddened to hear about your Father.... May your memories be cherished for ever...

God bless you all...

Kathy Kreiling

Dear Dean,Gene and Bonnie, I just wanted you to know how very much I cared for both of your parents! They were wonderful people and obviously great parents since they raised all three of you very well. I'm so glad I was able to make multiple trips down to see both of them and then to see your dad, sometimes alone and sometimes with my sister Judy. Each time I was there, I just hoped somehow I was bringing a little sunshine into their/his day. Your dad was very courageous and brave as he faced what was happening to him. He was a very special man and I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you and give you peace at this time when you need it so much. Together forever more!

I got the opportunity to become good friends with Don and Norma during the time Esther was there. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dean, Gene, and Bonnie, Ryan and I are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I looked forward to seeing him at the fair each year. He and your mother used to come visit me at my tractor on the racetrack every year. Don Varns was the best road grader operator ever to grade the track. We all share a lifetime of memories of both your parents, from skiing at Pleasant Hill to camping, to them playing cards with my parents. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Gene and Joyce, I am so sorry for your loss - know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Shorty was a true character always a smile and a quick joke. Chris and Sally Whitemyer

We would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. We wish you comfort and peace during
this difficult time. Don was a wonderful man and he was loved very much. God bless you all.

Dear Dean,Gene and Bonnie, Your parents were wonderful people.May God surround you with His Great
love and protection and give you peace. They will always be greatly missed.

Don is with his beloved Norma and the Killbuck Valley Boys...Bill Graham; Harold Redick; my brother, Jones Alexander. Now they can get together and be up to their usual shenanigans! "Grieving" is for us who have lost a good friend, but "rejoicing" is for Don who is free of this old world's ills. God send you His peace.

Dear Dean, Gene, Bonnie, and families, we are so sorry to hear about Uncle Don's passing. We have so many Varns family memories of Christmas gatherings, daffodils, making hay....the photos of the Montana trip that you shared recently with Dad (Ken) gave us time together to laugh, cry, and remember those we've lost but will see again. Be warmed by all those wonderful family memories. Hugs and peace to you all. Love, cousin Debbie and Gregg
