APPLE CREEK “ Donald Lester Musselman, 81, of Apple Creek passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
He was born December 18, 1937 in Apple Creek, the son of Ralph and Helen Clark Musselman.   He married Sandra S. œSandy  Tufford on June 8, 1962.   She survives.
He had worked at Rubbermaid for 29 years, had been the co-owner of Sandy ™s Golden Bear and retired as a Captain from the Apple Creek Fire Dept.   Donald was a 50 year member of the Wooster United Methodist Church.
He played in a family band playing at dances with his sisters, brothers and his mother.  Donald also played the guitar with some other bands.   He was an honored citizen at the Apple Creek homecoming, was a member of the Apple Creek American Legion and the Apple Creek Fire Department and had served as co-president of the Apple Creek PTO
He had proudly served as a member of the Ohio Army National Guard during the Cuban Crisis.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Sandy, are his children, Raymond (Stephanie) Musselman of Pataskala, Jeffrey (Tami) Musselman of Wooster and Rodrick (Anne) Musselman of Irwin; grandchildren, Madelaine (Cody Norris) Musselman and  Margaret Musselman both  of Columbus, Matthew Musselman  of Pataskala, Stirling Musselman of Wooster and Kathrine Musselman of Irwin.   Donald was the last surviving member of 12 children.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings, Kenneth, Ralph, Harold, Stanley, Charles, Ted, Willard, Merle Musselman and Nancy Saurers, Mary Alice Musselman and Viola Leiner.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Apple Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jim Cooper officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
