WOOSTER “ Donald W. Buehler, 85, of Wooster continued his journey from earth on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.
He was born June 17, 1932 at his home in Wooster, the son of Edward and Helen Ridenour Buehler.   He married Shirley A. Winget on June 24, 1956.   She survives.
Don retired in 2002 as co-owner and operator of Buehler Foods.   He was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church where he served as a Church Trustee for many years, the Wooster Kiwanis Club, served on the boards of Wayne Co. National Bank and Wayne Mutual Insurance Group, he was a College of Wooster Trustee, a 60 year member of Ebenezer Lodge #33 F &Am, a member of the Mohican Chapter of Penn Ohio Antique Car Club, and the Early Ford V-8 Club.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army as a Cpl. during the Korean War.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Shirley, are his children, Robert A. (Laurie) Buehler of Wooster, Roger W. (Valerie) Buehler of Loveland, Colorado and Gregory T. (Darby) Buehler of Wooster; grandchildren, Adrianne (Michael) Vincent, Brandon (Elaine) Buehler, Brian Buehler, Eric Buehler, Keeley (James) Hunter, Trevor Buehler, Ashley (Seth) Johnson and Eylie Buehler; great-grandchildren, Emma Buehler and Kai Hunter and a sister Eileen Cross of Wooster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, and brothers, Wayne E. and Eugene A. Buehler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wooster United Methodist Church, 243 N. Market St., Wooster with the Rev. Charles Tobias officiating.   Private family burial will be held.   The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
