Donna Mae Caldwell, 85, of Wooster died on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born June 25, 1935 in Millersburg to Otto and Oreda Lautenschleger Miller. In 2004, she married Mark Ellis. He survives.
Donna had been the Business Office Manager at Wooster Community Hospital for many years. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, gardening and growing green beans for her great-grandchildren, who loving called her Grandma Bean .
Along with her husband, Donna is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dennis Flynn) Maibach of Wooster; grandchildren Jennifer (Michael) Snowbarger, Ben (Courtney) Maibach; great-grandchildren Luke, Sara and Will Snowbarger, Benny, Bo and Cecily Maibach; step-children Nicole and Kareema Ellis both of Wooster; step-grandchildren Tianna, Jonathon and Ronin; sister Evelyn Manchester of Wooster and sister-in-law Jannette Miller of Wooster along with many nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion Duke.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Robert Caldwell in 2001 and siblings Joe, Robert, Painter, Dean and Marion Miller and Helen Sapp.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10:30 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Art Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Twp. Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 9:00 until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

We absolutely loved Donna’s sense of humor and admired her love of life; seemed like everyone she met was a friend. Our deepest sympathy to Marcus, Linda, and family – we all will miss her!

I was deeply saddened to see of Donnas passing. I had the privilege to know Donna as we both worked at Wooster Hospital for many years. I have many fond memories of occasional lunches with Donna or just talking about the families as we saw each other. Donna always had a smile on her face and was truly interested in her fellow employees. She was a lovely lady and a wonderful employee. She has created lovely memories for all who knew her.
