Nancy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Doris was a truly remarkable Christian lady and a blessing to lol who knew her. She will be missed.

Mother and I were so sorry to hear about Doris, she was a wonderful person. So thoughtful and loving, we have really missed them since they left Chillicothe. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all, she will be missed.

We regret we are unable to attend the memorial service for your mother this afternoon as we had intended. We hold fond memories of both your parents. They were both very welcoming to us shortly after we were married and welcomed us as part of their sharing group, which was a tremendous blessing to us! It was a healing and teaching time. They made us welcome in their home. Their influence has continued with us as we started a sharing group over 30 years ago, which continues to this day. Don went on to be a local pastor following retirement. We have enjoyed reading her Christmas letters over the years and know the deep love they both had for their children and grandchildren. We are confident their legacy lives on in you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we pray God's continued blessing on each of you.
