WOOSTER – Dorothy Marie Dottie CARPENTER, 63, of Wooster went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 26, 2009 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born March 1, 1946 in Wadsworth, the daughter of Hershel William and Lillian Mae Ball Mellott.
She was a homemaker who was a very dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving are her husband, John Carpenter, her sons, Bill (Traci) Cline, Gary (Andi) Cline and Steve Whitacre all of Wooster, step-sons, Jeremy Carpenter of Massillon and Jason Carpenter of Dalton, step-daughter, Jennifer Densmore of Cuyahoga Falls, grandchildren Kyle Graser, Tyler, Regan, Benjamin and Stephanie Cline; step-grandchildren Jared, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Corey and Kendall Carpenter and Trent Airwyke; a sister, Helen Lockhart of Orrville.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster on Friday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM with The Rev. Guy Morton officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
