WOOSTER – Dorothy P. WOODRUFF, 80, of Wooster passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1929 in Virginia, the daughter of Selmer and Frances Gentry.
She was a homemaker..
Surviving are her children Rudy (Bonnie) Woodruff, Rick Woodruff (Linda Beckler) and Randy (Kathy) Woodruff all of Wooster; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last of her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy S. Woodruff, on July 18, 1999 whom she married June 8, 1946, sons, Rex, Ronnie, Roy, Jr. Woodruff and a daughter, Crystal Wolford.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Monday, December 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Valentine officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
