FREDERICKSBURG – Doyle Dean Sidle, 84, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

He was born July 16, 1933 in Springville, the son of Forest and Wave Everhart Sidle.  He married Caroline Welty on April 18, 1954.  She survives.

He was a self-employed salesman of snack foods.  Doyle was a member of the Plain Lutheran Church and was a car enthusiast.

Doyle proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from 1955-1957.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Michael (Marla) Sidle of Canton and Christopher (Missy) Sidle of Fredericksburg; grandchildren, Eric (Allison) Sidle, Jason Sidle, Justin (Audra) Sidle, Cooper (Fiancee’ Kylee Terwilliger) Sidle and Colten Sidle; siblings, LaVonne Hider of Lubbock, Texas and Dorothy Craig of Big Prairie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Douglas Sidle and a brother, Edison Sidle.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Plain Lutheran Church, 2593 S. Jefferson Rd., Wooster with Pastor Rob Moskowitz officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
