WOOSTER – Earle Ralph WALKER, 78, of Wooster, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Smithville Western Care Center.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, on Sunday from 1-2:30 P.M. with a Masonic Memorial Service at 2:30 P.M.
Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr.Alan E. Nathan officiating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
Born February 20, 1930 in Waverly, VA, he was the son of Hugh Francis and Rhea Lucille McKesson Walker.
He was a graduate of the Indiana Institute of Technology as a Civil Engineer. Earle was a Division Manager for Columbia Gas Co. . He was a member of Ebenezer Lodge #33 F & Am, Al Koran Shrine and the Wooster Shrine Club. Member of American Legion Post #68 of Wooster. Served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores Kramer Walker; a son, Steven (Brankica) Walker of Medina; step-sons Charles (Christine) Patterson of Norwell, MA, Rodney (Brenda) Patterson of Shreve, and a step-daughter, Jan Patterson and Lisa Blair of Watsonville, CA; a grandson, Jordan Earle Walker; brothers, Ivan (Sally) Walker of Chatham, NJ and Stanley Walker of Springfield, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Janet Lytle Walker in 1966, sisters Pauline Heubler and Margaret Walker and a brother Frank Walker.
