WOOSTER – Eleanor Louise Beckler went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Wooster.
She was born August 31, 1920 in Van Buren to Alva and Margie (Teatsorth) Leedy.
She married Lowell W. Beckler on September 15, 1940. He died January 27, 1986.
She was a homemaker and loving mother all of her life and had been a member of Wooster Grace Brethren Church and more recently Parkview Church of Christ.
Eleanor was a member of Community Ladies Aid and always enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in various sporting events.
Friends may call Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 6-9:00 P.M. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Services will be held Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dean Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Beckler, Bonnie (Jim) Edwards, Donald (Jo) Beckler, Larry Beckler, Gary (Linda) Beckler, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert (Eva Jean) Leedy of Houghton Lake, Michigan and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eva McMichael and Ruth Ulrich, brothers, Verden and Garland Leedy and daughter-in-law, Dorothy M. Beckler.
