WOOSTER “ Ellen L. Jeffery, 85, of Wooster passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Brookdale of Wooster.
She was born August 15, 1934 in Ashland County, the daughter of Richard and Katherine Rush Atterholt.
Ellen had been a seamstress at Beulah Bechtel ™s for many years and had also worked at Freedlanders.   She loved genealogy, baking and sewing.
Surviving are her children, Robert Jeffery of Gilbert, Arizona, Steven Jeffery of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Teri (Tommy) Kain of Wooster; daughter-in-law, Nancy Oyler of Arizona; grandchildren, Cody Kain, Spencer Kain, Logan Jeffery and Connor Jeffery; a sister, Doris Houser of Wooster and her former husband, Robert Jeffery, whom she had raised her 3 children with.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Donna Roberts and her long-time companion, Harry Morgan.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 2:00 PM memorial service on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster, with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating.

Service
A 2:00 PM memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster, with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 2:00 PM memorial service on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster.

  1. Dear Family, Love, Prayers and Sympathy. I learned to know you all by working with father at Apple Creek. You all were perhaps 5 to 10 yrs? Yes, mother good cook. We enjoyed her treats that father Bob brought to work! Peace for all.
