So incredibly sad to hear the news. One of the kindest people I have known. Although I haven't seen him or the family for some time, they hold a very special place in my heart! I have fond memories of growing up next door to the Oswalds. I am so sorry for your loss! Hugs from Omaha!

Aunt Sue, Kirk, Alec, and Sara, I am keeping you guys in my thoughts. I always enjoyed speaking to Uncle Rick at the family gatherings. He was also a great listener. Stay strong.

Susan and family, please accept my sincere sympathies in the loss of your husband and father. Keeping your family in my prayers.

Dearest Alec, Jessica and family,

Rick certainly put up the good fight. How reassuring it is for you to know that he is now with his Savior and has no more pain. Know that I am praying for you and would be there for you today if I didn't have a doctor's appointment. May God's peace and comfort fill your hearts at this difficult time. Love you. Susan

Kirk, Alec and Sara, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I remember his kind and gentle demeanor as we spoke about you kids at parent-teacher conferences so long ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom and your family at this difficult time. May he Rest in Peace!

Sue and Family,

All of you have shown boundless love to a great man. Rick's community service to the City of Wooster was stellar and compassionate. May you find peace in the King of Peace. I wish I could have made it to the Memorial Service.

Sincerely,

Officer Linz

Sue and Family...so very sorry to hear the news of Rick's passing. Finally no more pain for him. Hope these words bring you comfort: "Grief never ends, but changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith..It is the price of love."
Rick was loved by many and will be missed. Prayers to you to help get through these difficult times. Hugs..Donna

Our condolences to the Oswald family . We knew the Oswald family from shortly after we came to town in 1962 and appreciated serving them as their family dentist until I turned the practice over to Dr. Cochran in 2006. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.
