WOOSTER “ Evelyn M. Duell, 93, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at West View Healthy Living.                        
She was born July 5, 1925 in Wooster, the daughter of Michael and Anna Weber Kestner.   She married Howard Duell on April 20, 1952.   He preceded her in death on March 24, 2004.
Evelyn had been the bookkeeper for Clark Fowler Electric for over 13 years.   She was a life-time member of the Trinity United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school.   She had volunteered at People to People Ministries for over 25 years and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.
Surviving are her children, Susan Knisely of Wheaton, Illinois, Patricia (Kelly) Hart of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Mark Duell of Wooster; grandchildren, Katie (Forrest Doss) Knisely of Albuerque, New Mexico, Emily (Sean) Gagnon of Fairfax, Virginia and Michael (Ali) Hart of Denver, Colorado; a great-grandson, Benjamin Doss; siblings, Melvin (Diane) Kestner of Sarasota, Florida, Harlan (Betty) Kestner of Alliance and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Marlene O’Brien.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at West View Healthy Living, 1715 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster with Pastor Kirk Fairhurst officiating.   Private family burial will be held at the Wooster Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
