Filomena Angeline Giroux, 85, of Wooster entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 04, 2021.
She was born September 2, 1935 to Joseph and Julia Dellafave of Wooster.
She is survived by her four children Don (Hilary) Giroux, Richard (Pat) Giroux, Shelly (Ingo) Giroux-Schlaf and Julie (Tom Segelin) Giroux; six grandchildren Kris (Christina) Giroux, Maria (Chris) Davila, Danielle Giroux, Louis (Tanya) Giroux, Ingo (Lindsey) Schlaf and Coen Giroux; six great-grandchildren Francisco, Valentino, Domenica, Susi, Nicholas and Alex.
She is also survived by two siblings Louise œNuna  Medve and Sebastian Dellafave.
Filomena was preceded in death by her siblings Francis, John, and Ralph Dellafave, Rose Tomassetti, Angeline Perkins, Antoinette Braden, Josephine Perkins and an infant sister.
Filomena was employed by Rubbermaid for many years and retired in the late 90s.   She was a wonderful woman with many talents.   She enjoyed cooking, traveling, gambling and most of all, she loved her family and will be deeply missed.
Private graveside services will be held in St. Mary Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor ™s choice.

  2. My condolence to the Giroux family. I did not know Mrs Giroux well but I many positive interactions with her parents and her late brother, Francis, on my paper route. God bless. God bless Mrs Giroux and God bless her extended family members.

  3. Our sympathy goes out to your family. We lived beside your family in the little house on University St for a couple of years in the early 70’s. Your mom was still working at Rubbermaid. We gave her credit for working and raising you four. She was very nice to us.
