Florence Wolbaugh, 97 of Wooster died on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her home.
She was born May 4, 1924 in Staffordshire, England to Alfred and Elsie Sutton Stretch.   On September 8, 1945, she married Paul Wolbaugh.   He preceded her in death in 1962.
Florence had worked at Bell + Howell and loved to travel, especially back to England, Egypt, Canada and throughout the United States.   She was a member of Gnat Boxers Square Dance Club and the Bell + Howell Fellowship Committee.   Florence was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children Carol (Tom) Beichler, Jerry (Linda) Wolbaugh and Barry (Sharon) Wolbaugh; daughter-in-law Deb Wolbaugh; grandchildren Bruce Beichler, Lisa (Jon) McGuire, Jeremy Wolbaugh, Tonya (Matt) McKelvey and Paul Wolbaugh; great-grandchildren Jacob, Isaac and Daniel Beichler, Aric (Amanda) and Sean Osborne, Abbey Wolbaugh and Myranda (Nate) Scott; great-great grandchildren Ava and Anden Osborne, Aria, Jaxson (Brittney) and Kasen Osborne and Cowen, Haylee, Kinzie and Case McKelvey along with many nieces and nephews.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; a son Mark Wolbaugh and siblings Alfred, Eric and Wilfred Stretch, Irene Sutton, Dorothy Rawlings and Vera.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster.   Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Service
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster.

Visitation
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.

  1. Flo was always so nice and friendly. I knew her through my former mother in law, Ruth Michalek. I am so sorry for your loss.

  2. I am so sorry I can’t be with you for services, but I worked with Flo years ago at B & H. She was a special co-worker and friend. I am praying for you all. May God be your comforter as you go on without her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
