Frances Fraser, 96, was born in Salem, Massachusetts, on January 13, 1923, the youngest of six siblings.   Her brothers often took her along to Fenway Park.    She  never lost her love of the Boston Red Sox!    
And she never lost her Bahstun accent either despite living in many places:  Frances waitressed wherever husband Alphonse Aubert Fraser worked as a chef – Florida in the winter, Maine in the summer.   At Williams Inn in Williamstown, Massachusetts, she proudly served Cole Porter (by his request).   They settled in East Windsor, Connecticut, where she read schematics at Sikorsky Helicopter.    
Retirement followed in West Palm Beach, Florida.    Alphonse passed away after ten years.  Frances continued to live in Florida  on her own  for another three decades:   she loved her morning coffee group, won service awards for her weekend job as the sample lady at Winn Dixie, and she went to Red Sox games when they wintered at nearby Winterhaven.
Frances came to Ohio the last two years of her life to be near her daughter Rosanne Burger (Al, Jr.).    She lived independently in her own apartment to the end of her life.    She will be missed by granddaughters Marcia Lynn Zdravchev (Dimitar and great-grandson Rumen) of Wooster and Amy Lauren Gamper (great-granddaughter Grace, great-grandson Bennett) of Baltimore and grandson Ted (Agnes and great-granddaughter Willow) of Myanmar.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
