WOOSTER “ Frances Lucile Boyer, 81, of Wooster, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday,  April 13, 2017.
She was born  January 16, 1936  in Moreland, the daughter of Harold R. and Minnie Gamber Markley. She married Arden D. Boyer on  June 22, 1958.
Frances retired as a tour director for Fidelity Tours after 23 years and had been a weight loss lecturer for 18 years. Some of her many talents included being a public speaker, singer (she was known for singing and yodeling on Wooster radio), and a baker. She was a member of the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church where she served on many committees and taught bible study classes, touching many lives with her passionate faith and trust in the Lord. Living life to the fullest, she was an accomplished airplane pilot while owning her own plane with her husband, Arden. They enjoyed traveling and exploring sites domestically and abroad. Frances loved spending time with her husband “the love of her life “ and family. She was a friend and prayer warrior for all who were in need.  
She will be deeply missed by her family and countless friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Sharon M. DeFelice of Greer, S.C. (Greg DeFelice); Care ™n L. Smith, Westfield Center, Ohio (Frank Smith); Richard L. Boyer, Wooster, Ohio (Cyndi Boyer). Four grandchildren: Candace and Amanda Defelice, Cameron and Erica Boyer. Brother, Richard Markley of Orrville and Sisters, Virginia  Friday  of Wooster, Mary Schrock of Sterling, Alice Phillips of Coshocton.
Frances was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, Charles, and Harold Markley Jr.
A memorial service celebration of her life will be held at Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 4203 West Old Lincoln Way, Wooster on Tuesday,  April 18,  2017 at 6 pm. with Rev. Chris Statz officiating.
A dessert fellowship will follow the service.
